In March 2016, for the second year in a row, DDS was named ‘Best Diamond Ring Manufacturer in Australia’ at the Australian Bridal Industry Academy (ABIA) awards gala. The event was held at the Marriott Resort on the Gold Coast, with DDS being awarded the highly acclaimed “Designer of Dreams Award” trophy. It was a special evening which recognised many leaders in the bridal industry and DDS is proud to be associated with this level of eminence.
In February 2015, DDS was very excited to receive the same ABIA award, being named ‘Australian Bridal Ring Manufacturer of the Year’ for the first time. Palazzo Versace on the Gold Coast hosted the gala event “ABIA Palazzo Versace Designer of Dreams Awards”, acknowledging bridal industry excellence. To qualify for this coveted award, entrants must be five-time recipients in their category at a state level.
What makes the prestigious ABIA awards so special is that they are voted by our customers. The competition is split into three categories of Quality of Product, Quality of Service and Value for Money and customers are asked to rate the provider for each category with a score out of 100.
The South Australian ABIA awards have been won by DDS, named ‘Best Diamond Ring Manufacturer in Adelaide’ back-to-back for the last five years, receiving an aggregate score from past customers of over 99.6%. The DDS team are both honoured and proud to be recognised at both a National and State level and continue to strive to be the best in the field of jewellery manufacture.
DDS Diamond Design Studios and the parent company Moser Jewellery have been winning awards since 1991, since entering the South Australian Goldsmiths Guild competition. That same year we won the Guild’s “Award for Excellence”. On entering the same competition six years later in 1997, Moser Jewellery won the award for “Craftsmanship”, affirming the Moser brand’s quality and distinction in both the Australian and international market place.
